Solution 1404 : Wireless: Is it possible to disable the "Scan Mode" on a PRC-2 IFB receiver?
Question:  Is there any way to prevent the PRC-2 IFB receiver power button from being depressed when turned on to keep it from going into scan mode?

Answer:  The easiest way to disable the scan mode on the IFB receiver would be to place a fiber washer of the correct thickness under the knob to prevent it from being depressed while on or while in the process of powering up the receiver. There aren’t any electronic hooks to disable the scan function.

If the receivers are only used with one transmitter the memory can be flushed out by simply powering up the receiver while the knob is depressed. This clears out any saved frequencies in the memory slots.
