Solution 1380 : Matrix: TEL-14 card applications (standard use and IFB use)

Question:  I'm programming a TEL-14 on my Eclipse frame, are there preset functions for standard telephone use and for telephone IFB use?

Answer:  Yes, the TEL-14 card can be setup for standard telephone use and for standard telephone IFB use.

Go to the ECS cards and ports screen, hightlight the port line for the TEL-14 and click on the advanced settings column on the right hand side of the screen Basic Settings and select the pull down menu for Application, the choices are:

Telephone (Standard Options preset in ECS)
Auto Listen - True
In Use Tally - True
Off Hook Tally - True
Latch Disable - False
Inhibit Station Callout - False

Telephone IFB (Standard Options preset in ECS)
Auto Listen - True
Global IFB - Full Cut
Latch Disable - True
In Use Tally - True
Inhibit Station Callout - True
Off Hook Tally - True
Note:  Telephone IFB usually requires the use use of a forced listen feed from a program source to the selected Telephone IFB destination (this is done in the Local Advanced menu under the Forced Listen tab).
