Solution 1060 : Wireless: Tempest 900 and Tempest 2400 comparison

Tempest 900 vs Tempest 2400 comparison chart.

Tempest 2400 can be used where UHF band is congested due to UHF digital TV usage, or where multiple wireless mics, wireless IFB and wireless comms are in heavy use. Tempest 2400 RF signals tend to reflect off hard or resilient surfaces reducing overall range.

Tempest 900 can be used where better RF range is needed as 900 MHz signals tend to penetrate walls and other surfaces much better than 2400 MHz RF signals, no potential RF interference issues with 2.4 WiFi signals or wireless lighting consoles.

The chart below highlights the differences between the two frequency ranges of this product.
